RCREEE organizes a fact finding mission to Lebanon on appliances' energy efficiency
In an attempt to assess and gain more insight on household appliances’ energy efficiency in Lebanon, RCREEE is organizing a three-day mission with key stakeholders from 21-24 July 2019 under meetMED activities.
With ultimate support of the Lebanese Center for Energy Conservation (LCEC), RCREEE team is meeting officials from Lebanese Standards Institution, Industrial Research Institute and Ministry of Energy and Water among other Lebanese key stakeholders in the energy market. The fact finding mission will strengthen RCREEE research on appliances efficiency with special focus on Air Conditioning Systems.
RCREEE Senior Sustainable Energy Expert, Eng. Sara Elhag will be leading the mission with Senior Sustainable Energy Specialist, Eng. Mahmoud Bououd.
The Mitigation Enabling Energy Transition in the Mediterranean region (meetMED) project is a two-years EU-funded project, developed by the Mediterranean Association of the National Agencies for Energy Management (MEDENER) and the Regional Centre for Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency (RCREEE) to support regional cooperation and build technical capacity for energy transition in Southern and Eastern Mediterranean (SEM) countries.
