GTZ-TERNA Expert Workshop 2008-Grid and System Integration of Wind Energy 15/9/2008
The GTZ wind energy programme TERNA (Technical Expertise
for Renewable Energy Application) supports partner
countries in the assessment and utilization of their wind
energy potential. Where the assessment is positive, this
leads to the initiation of wind energy projects that are
ready for investment to begin. As an accompanying measure,
GTZ advises partner countries on the establishment and
improvement of energy policy frameworks.
This year, once again, the Deutsche Gesellschaft fأ¼r
Technische Zusammenarbeit (GTZ) GmbH, the German Wind
Energy Association (BWE) and the Power Systems Association
of the German Engineering Federation (VDMA PS) are
organising a Wind Energy and Development Dialogue 2008 on
17 and 18 September 2008 in Berlin. German and
international guests and representatives from the world of
politics, the private sector and international
organisations are invited to come together to exchange of
ideas and share experience.
The presentations of the events (Workshop, Expert
Dialogue, Field Trip, Wind Energy and Development
Dialogue) are available on at the GTZ-TERNA website
(www.gtz.de/wind). Alternatively you may access the
