Regional and International Support

In the start up phase, RCREEE is supported financially and technically by Egypt, Germany, the EU and Denmark. In addition, Egypt, Tunisia and Syria have seconded experts to the interim secretariat to support the set-up process.

Germany, through “Deutsche Gesellschaft fuer Internationale Zusammenarbeit“ (GIZ), has made a long term expert available to assist with the set up of the Centre and the formulation of the initial work program.
